Kevin Kennedy

Kevin farms in north central Illinois close to Walnut. Kevin obtained his degree in Agronomy & Crop Protection from the University of Illinois. During college, Kevin built a crop scouting business and sold the company the year he graduated. After college, Kevin went home to farm, where he also started a fertilizer and chemical application business in 1996. The business grew until it was providing service to over 80,000 acres per year. In 2009, Kevin sold the business, which gave him the ability to expand his farm operations. Today, the farm operations include both commercial corn, soybean, and cow-calf production. He and his wife Treva have been married for over 34 years and they have been blessed with 3 children and 4 grandchildren. All 3 children are married and involved in the farm operation to some degree marking the start of the 7th generation. Kevin is passionate about his family and Community remaining engaged in shaping the future of Agriculture.
